Transcultural Concepts in Nursing Care

Publisher Wolters Kluwer released the 2025 edition of Transcultural Concepts in Nursing Care co-authored by Dr. John Collins, Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Studies.

Each of these authors has followed in the footsteps of the founder of transcultural nursing, the late Dr. Madeleine Leininger, a giant in the area of the relvance of culture, caring, health, and nursing; Dr. Leininger paved the way for what is now known in academic, politial, and social/public arenas as DEI – diversity, equity, and incusion – in the United States and around the world; however, her views included caring and the transcendent.”
