Pathways through Mathematical Doors

Designed to make math more engaging and interactive for our students, the Math Doors project brings the magic of mathematics to life in a dynamic and creative way. These doors will be strategically placed throughout Rochester University Alumni Center, each featuring a unique math-related puzzle, equation, or challenge that students can solve as they pass by. They also covered specific math standards that are covered in K-6 classrooms.

The goal of Math Doors is to:

    • Promote Active Learning: Encourage students to engage with math in a fun, low-pressure way.
    • Foster Curiosity: Inspire students to explore new mathematical concepts and ideas.
    • Create Community: Build a sense of excitement and collaboration around the subject.

Whether you’re a math enthusiast or a newcomer, these interactive doors are sure to spark your curiosity and provide a moment of fun and learning during your day.

Let’s open the door to creativity, problem-solving, and endless possibilities with Math Doors!
