Dr. Jerrica Pitzen receives grant for research project

Dr. Jerrica Pitzen was awarded a $2000 faculty research grant by Psi Chi, the International Honors Society for Psychology. She is using the funds to cover the cost of a research project titled, “Examining the relationship between parental reflective functioning, childhood language development, and autism spectrum disorder symptoms among a sample of diverse families.” She hopes to be able to present the findings at conferences and in a paper publication. Students who are interested in working as a research assistant on the project can join the Laboratory of Early Childhood, Attachment, and Parenting (LEAP) by emailing Dr. Pitzen at jpitzen@rcu.edu.
