2024-2025 Housing Application is Now Open

We are excited to announce that the 2024-2025 Housing Application is open, and you are invited to apply! Living on campus offers students easy access to various support services and the opportunity to develop meaningful connections with peers, faculty, and staff.

Here are a few things to keep in mind when applying:

    • Housing Application: Sign up for housing by completing your application here: rochesteru.erezlife.com, and click the “2024-2025 Housing” form. Housing is on a first-come, first-serve basis. The sooner you apply, the higher you will be on our room reservation list.
    • Login: You must use your RU login (full email address) and password to log onto the application website. If you have questions about how to set up your login info, please let us know, and we will send you directions!
    • Roommate Group: If you have a roommate in mind, you can request them by creating a “Roommate Group” after you and your potential roommate have both completed the application. If you don’t have a roommate in mind, no worries! We will organize roommate pairs based on the preferences you list on your application.
    • Housing Assignments: Fall 2024-25 Housing Assignments will be announced in July 2024.
    • Residence Halls: Click for more information on our two residence halls, Alma Gatewood & Ferndale Hoggatt. *Please Note* Naming your building preference does not guarantee you will be assigned to your preferred building.
    • Accommodations: If you need housing-related accommodations, click here to submit a request or here to learn more about housing accommodations in general. Students must submit their accommodation requests (and supporting documentation) by the priority deadline of June 1, 2024.
